What works? What backfires? And how do you build allies without burning bridges?
Christina Pointner is a Managing Attorney at GASSER PARTNER Attorneys at Law in Liechtenstein. She holds a Master of Laws from the University of Vienna, Austria, and a PhD from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Her practice focuses on banking and financial markets law, insurance law, and investment fund law. Christina is ranked by Chambers and The Legal 500 and is also listed in the Private Client Global Elite Directory 2026
Sanja is Counsel in the Luxembourg office of AKD and a member of the firm’s tax practice group. She specialises in the tax aspects of cross-border transactions, investment structuring, acquisitions, and corporate reorganisations, advising a diverse client base that includes private equity funds and multinational enterprises.
In addition to her transactional work, Sanja provides practical, day-to-day tax advice to AKD’s clients on their ongoing operations, as well as on fund structuring and securitisation transactions. She is recognised for her hands-on approach, commercial pragmatism, and proactive engagement with clients.
Sanja has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar Association since 2018.
Ester is a Senior Associate in the Belgian law firm Claeys & Engels.
She advises national and international clients on various aspects of individual and collective labor law. She also regularly assists clients in connection with various aspects of international employment including business migration (single permits, visas and residence of foreign employees) and simultaneous employment in multiple countries.
Ester has been a member of the Dutch Order of Lawyers at the Brussels Bar since September 2017. She joined Claeys & Engels as a lawyer in September 2019.”
Aline is a Swiss attorney and Of Counsel at Bonnard Lawson, with over 16 years of legal experience across Switzerland and the UAE. Based in Dubai since 2014, she has worked at several law firms, founded her own, and served as in-house counsel and strategic advisor to startups. Her practice covers private clients, commercial law, corporate structuring, international tax planning, M&A, and sports law. A former professional athlete, she brings an athlete’s understanding of pressure and recovery to her advisory work. Aline initiated AIJA’s Agents of Change program, which equips young lawyers to improve mental health and working culture in their firms, and serves as president of the AIJA SCILL Board. She holds an NLP coaching certificate and is a committed advocate for learning, education, and personal development.
